You may be new to the area. I know some women feel like it is lunchtime at your Junior High, when you’re the new kid in town. How do I get to know people? Where do I start? How will I fit in with a brand-new crowd? You’re in luck! Please join one of the biggest and influential groups for Women on the Island’ WAHHI, Women’s Association of Hilton Head Island. This woman’s group began on the island in the 1960’s as a garden club to keep the island beautiful. Now we (WAHHI) are a large group of transplanted friends that enjoy working together to make the island a better place for all! This women’s group is available to you with a plethora of Interest Groups which include guest speakers, book groups, walking groups, zoom author book series from well-known authors, pickle ball, crafts, single ladies’ outings, and foodies! Four times a year a luncheon is planned with a captivating speaker as our headliner. This is a great time to meet ladies who might become your new friends! Most of the ladies in WAHHI) were just like you, and now we have a calendar filled with activities that interest one and all! WAHHI always welcomes any and all ages of females who want to become more active in the community and find their group of people!
